Zane Massey (New York – Rotterdam) performed and composed with legends like Sun Ra, Jemeel Moondoc, Roy Campbell, Ronald Shannon Jackson and of course with his father, the legendary trumpeter-composer Cal Massey. Zane now lives and works in Rotterdam. Tracin’ Tracy is a band that can lay down the right groove for Zane to explore and go way beyond the boundaries of jazz, funk and more…. “This band funks like hell” (Tess van der Zwet/ VPRO 3voor12).
