Seven Stars Over Sicily
Guitarplayer Conrad Freling and singer Daniel Blokker are both connoisseurs of obscure rock, folk and soul from the sixties and seventies. This explains why their band Seven Stars Over Sicily is called after a song by the legendary cult artist John Terlazzo (who gave them his personal blessing). Firm rock with psychedelic vibes and touches of baroque folk forms the foundation of their melodic songs that also reveal influences of eighties underground bands like Crime and the City Solution and Masters Of Reality. Their debut album And Here Comes The Night was nominated for the Rotterdam Music Awards 2018. They will perform semi-acoustic in Dizzy, with guitarist Jeroen ‘The Don’ Wessels (ex Bat Attack) frequently switching to cello, theremin and musical saw.
Daniel Blokker – vocals
Conrad Freling – guitar / vocals
Robert Giesselbach – keyboards
Roger Groen – bass
Don Heronimo – guitar / theremin / cello / musical saw
Steven van Wees – drums
