Anaphora is a modern creative international piano trio that is heavily influenced by free jazz and contemporary classical music.

They are named after the cornerstone of the Christian Liturgy: the offering of the body and the blood of Christ. Through art and different approaches on art, Anaphora aims to create an offering of its music and itself to the public. How can music convey deeper insight into the human and natural world ? What makes art such a special event in time and can music, like the Christ, atone the banality and vulgarity of human routine and social interaction? Through – sometimes ironic – introspection of itself, Anaphora sets itself to answer these questions through their original compositions and arrangements
