Floating Flame is an Amsterdam based band creating original music within the genres of soul, funk, and jazz. We write dynamic songs with catchy melodies and thoughtful lyrics, touching on themes we all recognize from everyday life, naturally shaped by the music-therapeutic background of several band members. The songs are not only about love, but also about topics like the climate change, stereotypes and freedom.

The name Floating Flame didn’t come out of nowhere: we rehearse on a boat in Amsterdam, where part of the band also lives.
