Argentinian night – Cuarteto Cimarrón
A group of friends, from different generations and diverse backgrounds, united by their
shared passion for tango. Together, they offer audiences a fresh perspective on their
cultural roots.
One great team formed by conservatoire teachers and Masters graduate which gathers
the voice, taste, maturity and actitude of a lifelong worldwide professional experience in
various stages, venues and festivals. Cuarteto Cimarrón is a Rotterdam-based quartet
featuring Marcelo “El Pardo Marcial” Belardinelli (vocals), Álvaro Rovira Ruiz (8-string
guitar), Renzo Navone Rodríguez (guitar), and Lautaro Vergara (double bass).
Their music takes listeners on a journey through the rich soundscapes of Argentine and
Uruguayan traditions — from zamba and chacarera to tango and milonga — while
infusing each piece with their own creative voice and contemporary sensibility.
