3SOME is a fusion trio consisting of Davide Rasetti (keyboards & saxophone), Daan Arets (drums) and Gianluca Calò (bass). 3SOME’s music transcends genres and blends the individual influences of the band members into a unique sound that combines progressive jazz with elements of funk and urban music.
3SOME’s debut album will be released in October 2025. The band recently released the singles Dirty and Shady, followed by their latest track A.A.A., which was released in May 2025.
The three musicians met in the Rotterdam music scene in the summer of 2022. They quickly felt a strong musical connection and just a few months later they recorded the album “TO GO UP”, then still under the name Davide Rasetti TRIO. The album was released during their tour of Italy in September 2023.
During this tour, the trio took part in a two-week artistic residency. An experience that profoundly changed the course of the band. During this period of intensive collaboration, a completely new repertoire was written together, which led to the formation of a completely new identity. This development inspired them to take a bold step: the name change from “Davide Rasetti TRIO” to “3SOME”.
This new name emphasizes the essence of their music: a sonic being born from the connection and intensive collaboration of three artists.
