BEATRIZ Swinging Cuban Latin Jazz!
The young founder and bandleader Laura “Beatriz” Argudin (Cuba, 27) aims to share and further develop her musical tradition in the Netherlands. As the youngest member of the Peruchin jazz dynasty, expect energetic Cuban Latin jazz music from her, a number of classics but also her own repertoire. With the band BEATRIZ, Laura has managed to attract a number of other young talents – who already have recognition and experience with guest appearances with international top bands -: Patricia Mancheño (bass guitar), Steven Brezet (percussion), Daan Arets (Drums), Pablo Cruz (Sax/Flute).
*Special guest on drums will be Jay Kalo from Cuba.
