Derick and SoulNL is a collective of experienced musicians that plays Dutch classics based on the American Soul and Funk tradition with influences from contemporary Hip-Hop and R&B.

With this crossover of music genres, SoulNL has created a unique sound and the Netherlands has a new sound.
As befits true Soul, singer and saxophonist Derick Stadwijk is not just about the music. SoulNL stands for a way of thinking, a way of life and adding colour to a black and white society.
