Loris Grillo is an alto-saxophone player originally from Stuttgart, Germany. Based in France, at the prestigious Conservatoire National Superieur de Paris, he is becoming an important figure of the Paris jazz scene. His style and sound are influenced by the legacy of Lee Konitz, Warne Marsh, and Lennie Tristano.
Assembling a Team of European-based musicians, their music will have a wide range of influences, lasting from the tradition of tristano, konitz up to mark turner, kurt rosenwinkel and also steve lehman and christian lillinger!
