With musical scars in his life Rayn started his career as a singer. By writing his emotions and life lessons on paper he used his musicality for his poems. This led to “A creation from the soul”. He released his soulful debut album in 2012 that was well received by critics all over the world and included the very talented legends John JR Robinson on drums and Marcus Miller on bass. His first international door opened when Sweet Soul Records Japan signed him, which led him touring Japan every year.

Leaving footsteps from his first album and finishing untold stories a follow up to his first album was born. “Back II Business” his second album was released in 2018. Lullabies about life with 10 songs and adding a mixed flavor of the 70’s and 80’s with more groovy dance-tracks that make you move and ballads to keep the music wave balanced. Because of his experience from his first album Rayn travelled from studio to studio and played more instruments on this album that he himself recorded and mixed.

What is he up to now?

Rayn is currently busy finishing a 4-part album series with a mixture of different genres sounds grooves and vibe. The reason why he wrote different then his previous albums has to do with in his own words ‘my rollercoaster life, mind, emotions and mood that changes everyday’. Inspired by collaboration with other artists and producers Rayn worked with for years “Divergent Melody” was born. Part 1 of this series is “Superstar” and is available right now on all platforms. After his first video and single release, there will be 3 more singles with a music video.

His musical abilities (writing, composing singing and playing the piano) and mind to process and orchestrate, made him the inspiring artist he is today.
