Join us for a sultry summer night at Dizzy as we dive deep into the rich, rhythmic, and romantic world of Brazilian jazz — from the golden days of bossa nova to the hypnotic grooves of samba-jazz and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira).
Jan Dumée, internationally acclaimed guitarist, composer, and musical globetrotter, takes the stage as Jazz Musician in Residence for this special evening. Known for his deeply rooted love of Brazilian music and his collaborations with some of Brazil’s greatest musicians, Dumée curates a vibrant set celebrating the finest sounds of Rio and beyond.
He’s joined by an all-star Dutch-Brazilian lineup:
