The Organismics, a trio formed by Jasper Blom (tenor saxophone), Daniel Bulatkin (hammond organ) and Egidio Gentile (drums), was born from an idea of bringing the concept of the hammond trio into today’s contemporary jazz sound. With the mastery of legendary Dutch saxophone player Jasper Blom (winner of the Boy Edgar Prize in 2019) and his prominent young bandmates, this dynamic ensemble promises a breath of fresh air on the European jazz scene. The Organismics’ repertoire is based on energetic and groovy original compositions as well as revised and newly arranged material from world-renowned composers. With the aim to convey modern concepts and approach to mainstream jazz, this vehicle of groove and rhythmical propulsion promises a unique blend of traditional Black American Music with a distincive modern twist.
