Zenith Project
Zenith Project is the meeting of six exceptional musicians from Brazil and the Netherlands, joining forces in an adventurous new ensemble. Their music moves freely through funky grooves, bebop energy, lyrical ballads, and the unmistakable vitality of Brazilian rhythms. The result is a sound world that is both raw and refined, deeply rooted yet boundless. Zenith Project is more than the sum of its careers: it is a living organism in which improvisation, composition, and interaction constantly take new forms. Here, worlds meet—the open approach of the Dutch jazz tradition, the rhythmic richness of Brazil, and the individual strength of six musicians pushing each other to new heights. What makes this band particularly remarkable is that its members live across three cities in the Netherlands and two continents: Cuca in São Paulo, Rubinho in Grenoble, Jan in Rotterdam, Wilson also in Rotterdam, René in The Hague, and Boris in Schiedam. Yet, despite the distance, they always find the spark that fuels their music. Every rehearsal, every concert, and soon their first album is proof that music transcends borders. Their debut album, releasing in January, is a vibrant collection of new compositions where virtuosity and emotion go hand in hand. It is an invitation to travel—from intimate moments to bursts of energy, from deeply rooted grooves to cosmic freedom. With this project, Zenith Project sets its course for international stages, ready to carry listeners everywhere into their tropical, funky, and boundary-pushing universe.
