Fiasco is a Rotterdam-based New Age Jazz trio, consisting of Hugo Kurstjens, Jasper Sabbe and Jasper Fleischmann. Their music searches for the borders in modern- day jazz music by dismissing traditional standards. Odd time signatures and bass melodies are only a tip of the iceberg of unconventional playing by this dynamic trio. This year, Simon Beets is joining the trio on the trumpet, adding a traditional sound to the untraditional pieces from this trio.
